Iğdır STEM Center is a sustainable education project inspired by the successful STEM center model in Payas, aiming to increase students’ access to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education in the region.
The weekly training plans and educational content of the center were fully designed by our team, taking students’ age groups, interests, and knowledge levels into consideration to create a structured learning program. Through hands-on workshops and activities, we continue to encourage students’ curiosity and motivation toward STEM fields.
As a result of these programs, we observed strong student interest in STEM and supported the establishment of two new FLL teams to transform this interest into a long-term and sustainable structure. In this way, we encouraged students to engage in project-based and continuous learning experiences.
With its scalable structure and lasting impact, the Iğdır STEM Center project continues to promote STEM culture in disadvantaged regions and aims to help raise the next generation of innovative individuals.
