M.E. FIRST

As Fenerbahçe Doğuş SPARC, we believe that access to menstrual hygiene products is not a privilege, but a basic right. Research conducted in Türkiye shows that many women face serious barriers in accessing these products, creating inequalities that directly affect education, social participation, and productivity.

With this awareness, we took on the role of M.E. FIRST Ambassador in the m.e. FIRST initiative led by Team Space Cookies 1868. During the 2025–2026 season, we focused on increasing menstrual hygiene awareness within the FIRST Türkiye community and building a sustainable event model that supports accessibility at the Regional events that we attended.

Our goal is to make this need more visible in competition environments, create a more inclusive atmosphere, and emphasize that equality in STEM is only possible when basic needs are also addressed.
